Influenster: Sally Hansen Salon Effects I was so excited to be picked for my very first VoxBox from Influenster. Influenster is a great program!! They send you products for free so that you can try them and give your honest opinions and reviews about the products. The Spring Beauty Box was my first ever Voxbox. I received a big package with several different products for me to try and review. One of my favorite products in the box were the Sally Hansen Salon Effects. I received the Wild Child style. At first glance I was really excited. The packaging was nice and I loved the style. It was a very African/tribal type of style. I've never used nail strips before so I wasn't sure how I was going to like them. They've always looked, to me, like they'd be a pain to put on. So I was pleasantly surprised to see that the instructions were very straight forward and easy to understand. It actually took me a lot less time to apply them to all my nails, than it would to paint my nails. It was actually really easy to apply. All you have to do is stick it on your nail. Use the little cuticle stick to press the strips down. Then I just used the file that was provided in the package to shape to my nail. They looked great! Though I must admit that I was skeptical and expected them to have peeled off by the next day. Surprisingly they hadn't. They lasted for over a week and still looked brand new. With painted nails, by day 4 there is usually some chipping off of the nail polish. I did all of my usually activities and the nail strips definitely stood the test. Though I will say that the only negative that I saw was that they are somewhat pricey. One package costs $9.99. I'm pretty cheap, so it's not something that I would use every week. I think Sally Hansen Salon Effects would be great for a special occasion or even for something like a vacation. They are perfect for a time when you don't want to have to mess with nail polish. You can just apply it and not have to worry about it at all. Overall I would definitely recommend trying them. Sally Hansen has them in 40 different fun styles and colors. I give them two big thumbs up! |

What makes you fabulous?
What makes you fabulous??
Wow, What a loaded question. As I think about this I immediately think about the human spirit. About how even when there is so much bad happening in the world....this is much more good. Looking at what's happened in Japan I can't help but think of the 50 heros who are working at the nuclear power plant. These 50 who went in fully knowing that there is a good chance that they won't make it out. I picture those helicopters flying over the reactors, those pilots that are exposing themselves to radiation each time. I think of those who are searching through rubble.....who are helping their neighbors and strangers alike. Those that are risking and sacrificing for others. I think of the many acts of love and compassion. That is what makes us fabulous. We are fabulous because we choose to stand tall, we choose to help and to comfort, we choose to sacrifice and donate. I'm proud to see that WE are fabulous.
I hope that as time passes the human spirit will hold strong. That we will remember in our lives to make our own impact on the world. That that impact will be positive, loving, compassionate, giving, and caring.

Still waiting....No response from Swagbucks
Well, I've not yet heard back from Swagbucks about why they deactivated my account. The more time I spend thinking about it, the madder I get. One would expect to at least be given a warning before such an extreme measure was taken as deactivating an account. Or at the very least a valid explanation of why the account was deactivated. I've never received any sort of warning that I've been doing something wrong. All I got when I tried to sign on was a generic
"Your account has been deactivated!
There are several reason why you may be prevented from accessing your account:
1. You are operating more than one user account.
2. You are operating more than one account per household
3. You are using your account in violation of our terms of use."

The only thing that I've done differently was to cash out some swagbucks for $20 in paypal giftcards, last week. Has anyone else had issues with Swagbucks once they tried to cashout to get the giftcards or prizes that they've earned?
I had over 4000+ swagbucks saved.....that equals about $50 (in amazon giftcards). That's alot of money to lose! I'm disabled and unable to work. So alot of my time is spent on the computer surfing the internet. So it was such a blessing to be able to earn swagbucks while doing it. I hope to hear from them soon. That $50 was going towards Christmas gifts for my family.
I'll make sure to let you know when or if I hear from them and what ends up happening. Hopefully their customer service team will pull through and be willing and able to explain and help me fix this so I can get my account back.

Swagbucks Screwed Me!! Deactivated my account
I have been a very big fan of Swagbucks.com for several months. It's easy to use and allows you to "win" points for normal internet searches. I have been using Swagbucks for about 6 months. I've allowed my points to add up and hadn't gotten any prizes. When the paypal $5 giftcard went on sale for Black Friday I finally decide to cash in and ordered 4 of them. I was so excited to be able to earn these giftcards by doing web searches, daily polls, surveys, etc. So now I have about 4000 points left on my account. When I tried to sign on today I got the message saying I was deactivated!! There was no explanation at all! I've emailed them but haven't yet received a response.
I'm so angry, I would have appreciated some explanation or a warning-or at least a valid explanation! I recommend swagbucks to everyone I know as well as posting on my facebook account. I'm not trying to cheat or using Swagbucks incorrectly. The only thing I've done differently is get the paypal giftcards.
Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do about it?
